A mass spectrometer processes extraordinarily complex data. The design challenge was to make that complexity invisible — creating an interface that is calm, readable, and easy to monitor at a glance. The visual language prioritises clarity through a considered, clean aesthetic and deliberate use of light and information hierarchy, ensuring clinicians can focus on what matters most.
I led the project end-to-end — overseeing UX strategy and design while working in close collaboration with researchers, investors, and engineers to ensure the product met both clinical and technical requirements. I also managed external vendors throughout the development process, coordinating across workstreams to keep the project on track.
